Pakistan, June 26 -- European health authorities remain on high alert as a deadly heatwave continues sweeping across the continent. At least 55 heat-related deaths have been reported in France amid record-breaking temperatures. Millions of people across Europe face severe health risks and widespread disruption.
Authorities in France, Germany, Britain, Italy, the Netherlands, Austria, and Serbia have introduced emergency measures.
