Pakistan, April 26 -- Eight people were killed and one sustained bullet injuries in a clash between two groups over a land dispute in Basti Chandia within the limits of Bahal police station on Saturday. According to a police spokesperson,the incident occurred when a long-standing land dispute between the rival groups turned violent,leading to an exchange of fire. The deceased were identified as Niazi (28), Aslam, Azhar, Wasim, Sajjad, Qadir Khan, Amanullah and Sidique while Sjaad sustained critical injuries. Police said the victims belonged to both groups involved in the dispute.
