Pakistan, March 19 -- Countries around the world have announced the dates for Eid ul Fitr 2026 based on the sighting of the Shawwal moon, with celebrations set to fall on different days in various regions.
Several countries, including Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, and Turkey, will celebrate Eid on Friday, March 20, 2026. These countries completed 30 days of Ramadan as the Shawwal moon was not visible.
Other nations marking Eid on the same day include Maldives, Lebanon, Palestine, Yemen, and Iraq. Several African countries, such as Sudan, Nigeria, Senegal, and Cameroon, have also confirmed March 20 for Eid celebrations.
