Pakistan, Aug. 28 -- Two suspects stole a diamond necklace linked to Egypt's former royal family from a Vienna museum. The theft occurred Thursday at the Museum of Applied Arts. No injuries were reported during the incident. The valuable piece contained hundreds of diamonds and has a notable royal history.

According to Austrian broadcaster ORF, the suspects entered the museum around 2pm local time. They appeared to be ordinary visitors before breaking a glass display case. The men then removed the necklace and escaped from the museum. Police believe they targeted the item deliberately.
