Pakistan, Sept. 27 -- DI Khan checkpost attack left 11 people martyred, including six police personnel, two Customs officials, two women and a two-year-old child. The suspected suicide bombing targeted an anti-smuggling checkpost in Darazinda, Dera Ismail Khan.
Rescue 1122 and police officials said an explosives-laden vehicle rammed into the checkpost and caused a powerful explosion. Several police and Customs personnel were injured, with some reportedly in critical condition. Rescue teams shifted the injured to hospitals for treatment.
