BRUSSELS, June 19 -- Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has expressed concern over India's ongoing reservoir expansion and water diversion projects on rivers linked to the Indus basin, warning that such developments could lead to what he described as "hydro-hegemony" and threaten regional stability.

Addressing a seminar on transboundary water resources in Brussels through a recorded video message on Thursday, Dar said Pakistan's concerns were based not only on Indian statements but also on developments taking place across the Indus River system.
