Pakistan, June 4 -- Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar, accompanied by Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, met with the senior leadership of the Pakistan Peoples Party as part of the routine pre-budget consultation process regarding the upcoming federal budget.

According to a statement issued by the Deputy Prime Minister's Office on Wednesday, the meeting discussed current and development expenditure priorities, particularly the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP), as well as broader economic priorities including fiscal stability, public welfare initiatives, development projects, and comprehensive and inclusive economic growth for the fiscal year 2026-27.
