Pakistan, May 26 -- Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar arrived in New York on Tuesday to participate in a high-level debate of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) being held under China's presidency.

According to Pakistan's Foreign Office, Dar will attend the debate titled "Upholding the Purposes and Principles of the UN Charter and Strengthening the UN-Centred International System". The session aims to discuss the growing challenges facing global diplomacy and the role of multilateral institutions in resolving international disputes.
