Pakistan, July 21 -- Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has arrived in New York for a week-long visit from July 21 to 28. He was warmly received by Pakistan's Permanent Representative to the UN, Asim Iftikhar, and Pakistan's ambassador to the United States. The visit marks Pakistan's active participation in the United Nations Security Council's high-level engagements under its current presidency.
As part of his visit, Dar will chair a major Open Debate on "Promoting International Peace and Security through Multilateralism and Peaceful Settlement of Disputes."
