Pakistan, April 8 -- Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar and Foreign Minister of Bahrain Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Tuesday, expressed concerns over recent developments in the region.

The DPM/FM held a telephone call with the Bahrain foreign minister, the Foreign Office Spokesperson said.

The two leaders also discussed ongoing deliberations on current business at the United Nations Security Council and underscored the importance of maintaining peace and stability. They agreed to remain in touch.

Separately, Dar and Foreign Minister of Norway Espen Barth Eide, Tuesday, discussed recent developments in the Middle East and the wider region.
