Pakistan, June 4 -- A judicial magistrate in Karachi has accepted a request from jail authorities to exempt alleged drug suspect Anmol alias Pinky from appearing in person during court proceedings related to cases registered against her.

The decision was made during a hearing of a drug recovery case pending before the Judicial Magistrate South court. During the proceedings, police sought permission to present the accused through a video link instead of transporting her to court.
