KARACHI, Sept. 28 -- The judicial commission investigating businessman Mir Raza's murder has stopped further proceedings for now. The commission will not continue unless Sindh authorities formally extend its term.

In its latest order, the commission recorded an update from the Sindh government spokesperson. The spokesperson said officials had submitted a summary seeking an extension to the provincial cabinet. The commission noted that the cabinet would consider the matter during its upcoming meeting.
