Pakistan, Aug. 15 -- Torrential rains and cloudbursts have wreaked havoc in northern and mountainous regions, causing widespread destruction, flash floods, landslides, and road blockages. Several villages have been cut off, and evacuations have been forced, resulting in at least 10 deaths in Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir. The intense rainfall has triggered secondary hazards like landslides and debris flows, leading to extensive loss of life and damage to infrastructure."
