Pakistan, Dec. 28 -- Tensions escalated outside the Bangladesh Embassy in London as Pro-Khalistan Sikh activists and British Indian Hindu groups aligned with India's BJP confronted each other during a protest over alleged killings in Bangladesh.
The demonstration, initially aimed at supporting minority communities, saw Khalistani flags raised and anti-India slogans chanted by Sikh activists, prompting a tense standoff with Hindu protesters voicing support for India.
Veteran Khalistani leader Paramjeet Singh Pamma, coordinator of the Khalistan Referendum campaign, directly confronted the Hindu group, leading to a scuffle that required Metropolitan Police intervention to separate the factions and restore calm.
