Pakistan, May 14 -- A Chinese company is setting up a large-scale manufacturing facility in Pakistan with expected annual exports reaching between $400 million and $500 million. Officials said the project could also create nearly 20,000 jobs, supporting Pakistan's efforts to expand export-focused industries and attract more foreign investment into the manufacturing sector.

The development came during a meeting between Commerce Minister Jam Kamal Khan and a Chinese business delegation led by Huwang Weiguo and Karen Chen. The delegation briefed the minister on progress related to the industrial project and discussed future plans for production expansion and export growth in Pakistan.
