Pakistan, Sept. 23 -- Chinese President Xi Jinping departed Beijing on Wednesday for Washington to meet US President Donald Trump. Their talks come as both countries seek to manage trade tensions and emerging concerns. Artificial intelligence and several other sensitive issues are expected to feature during their discussions.

State broadcaster CCTV reported that Xi left Beijing aboard a special aircraft. His wife Peng Liyuan and senior officials accompanied him. Foreign Minister Wang Yi and senior Chinese official Cai Qi were among the delegation.
