Pakistan, Jan. 20 -- China has called on Afghan authorities to investigate a deadly blast in Kabul that killed a Chinese national and six Afghans, while injuring several others. Five Chinese citizens were also wounded, prompting Beijing to seek urgent medical assistance for the injured. The explosion occurred in the commercial Shahr-e-Naw area, a district housing embassies, offices, and shopping complexes.

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun said China has asked Afghan authorities to ensure proper treatment for the wounded and take all necessary measures to prevent further attacks. Chinese officials also urged their nationals to avoid travel to Afghanistan and leave dangerous areas immediately due to ongoing security risks.
