Pakistan, Sept. 27 -- Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Asim Munir and Saudi Defence Minister Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz reaffirmed joint efforts to counter attacks targeting the kingdom. The two leaders held discussions on security cooperation under the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement. They also reviewed the recent regional security situation and developments affecting Saudi Arabia.

According to ISPR, the meeting focused on attacks targeting Makkah al-Mukarramah, along with civilian and economic facilities in the kingdom.
