Pakistan, May 30 -- Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney has said Canada and China are working toward a "more stable and constructive partnership" following high-level discussions with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi during his visit to Canada.

In a statement shared on social media, Carney said the meeting built on momentum generated during his visit to China earlier this year. He noted that both sides focused on expanding cooperation and identifying new opportunities to boost economic growth and prosperity across the Pacific region.
