Pakistan, Sept. 24 -- Senior Bollywood actor Mushtaq Khan has died at the age of 56 after battling liver cancer, Indian media reported. His death has prompted condolences from several figures in the Indian film industry.

According to Indian media reports, Khan had been suffering from liver cancer. His health reportedly deteriorated significantly in recent weeks. Doctors admitted him to a hospital in Mumbai about two weeks before his death.
