Pakistan, June 10 -- China renewed its call for the United States and Iran to avoid further escalation after fresh military strikes. Beijing warned that continued conflict could undermine regional stability and diplomatic efforts. The appeal comes as tensions rise across the Middle East and affect regional security.
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian said Beijing was deeply concerned by the latest developments. His remarks followed US air strikes on Iranian military targets. According to US Central Command, the attacks responded to the downing of a US Army Apache helicopter. Meanwhile, Iran launched retaliatory attacks on several American military bases in the region.
