Bangladesh restores anti-Israel passport clausePublished on: May 25, 2026 9:20 PM
Pakistan, May 25 -- Bangladesh has restored a passport clause stating travel documents are valid for all countries except Israel. Officials said the decision reflects Bangladesh's longstanding support for the Palestinian cause and prevailing public sentiment. Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed confirmed the restoration while speaking to journalists. He also said the restriction had already been implemented on diplomatic passports.
