Pakistan, Jan. 9 -- The Balochistan provincial government has launched an electric bike scheme with easy installments and a 30 percent subsidy, aiming to ease transport costs and promote cleaner mobility across the province.

The decision was approved during the 21st provincial cabinet meeting chaired by Mir Sarfraz Bugti, where ministers endorsed multiple welfare-driven initiatives focused on economic growth and improved public services.

Under the scheme, students, working women, government employees, and the general public can access electric bikes through bank financing, ensuring broad eligibility and affordable monthly payments for diverse income groups.
