Pakistan, Sept. 23 -- The National Cyber Crime Investigation (NCCIA) arrested a 17-year-old student in Bahawalpur over an alleged attempt to poison his father. Investigators also found evidence that the teenager had used an artificial intelligence tool for information related to the alleged act.

The investigation reportedly uncovered a small laboratory at the teenager's home. Authorities said the student had been experimenting with chemicals and was influenced by crime dramas. Investigators also found that he allegedly sourced chemical materials from Australia and Islamabad.
