Pakistan, May 28 -- Federal Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb said the government is trying to minimise the financial burden on citizens in the upcoming federal budget. He stated that authorities are focusing on economic stability while continuing efforts to reduce inflation. His remarks came during a media interaction in Kamalia.

Aurangzeb said the government plans to prioritise enforcement and tax compliance instead of imposing additional taxes. He explained that improving the tax collection system remains a key objective of the upcoming budget strategy. Officials believe better compliance can help increase revenue without placing extra pressure on the public.
