Davos, Jan. 22 -- Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb and Bill Gates emphasised the importance of an efficient tax system for Pakistan's long-term economic resilience. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 26th Annual World Economic Forum in Switzerland. They discussed Pakistan's ongoing reform process and priorities in the health sector.

According to the Finance Ministry, both sides agreed to strengthen cooperation with the Gates Foundation to support sustainable development. Aurangzeb appreciated the foundation's longstanding support in Pakistan, particularly in polio eradication, and acknowledged its role in improving healthcare services.
