Pakistan, Aug. 21 -- Asma Mushtaq died during her Spantik expedition after successfully reaching the 7,027-metre summit in Pakistan's Karakoram mountain range. The Pakistani travel vlogger and mountaineer reportedly developed high-altitude sickness while descending from the peak. Despite receiving initial medical assistance from her guide, she could not survive.

Born on February 7, 1992, Asma was known for her strong passion for adventure, mountains and natural landscapes. She had recently joined an expedition to climb Spantik, one of the prominent peaks in Pakistan's Karakoram range.
