Pakistan, Sept. 22 -- Anne Hathaway has confirmed that she plans to take a short break from acting after her upcoming film Verity hits theaters.

The Oscar-winning actress discussed her upcoming projects while promoting the film. She said she plans to step away from work after Verity arrives on October 2.

Hathaway previously suggested that she would move directly into her next project after welcoming her baby. However, she has now decided to give herself some time away from Hollywood.

"The movie comes out October 2nd, and on October 3rd, I'm going to like vanish in a plume of smoke," Hathaway said. She joked that fans would not see her again until she had to return.
