Pakistan, Oct. 26 -- Anne Hathaway and Dakota Johnson's psychological thriller Verity is set to arrive on digital platforms this week. The film adapts Colleen Hoover's bestselling novel and features Josh Hartnett alongside the two Hollywood stars. Directed by Michael Showalter, the movie premiered in cinemas on October 2. Despite receiving some negative reviews, it attracted audiences during its theatrical run.

Hathaway plays Verity Crawford, a celebrated author who becomes unable to complete her latest novel. She hires struggling writer Lowen Ashleigh, portrayed by Johnson, to finish the book on her behalf. Lowen travels to Verity's remote estate to take on the assignment.
