Pakistan, June 30 -- The import of agriculture machinery and implements during last 11 months of current financial year grew by 24.76 percent as compared to the imports of the corresponding period of the last year.

During the period from July-May, 2026 agriculture machinery and implements worth of $123.781 million were imported as compared to the imports of $99.214 million of the same period of the last year, according the data of the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics.

Meanwhile, the import of agricultural chemicals during the period under review grew by 4.92 percent and it was recorded at $9.336 billion as compared to the imports of $8.898 billion of the same period of the last year, it added.
