Pakistan, Aug. 10 -- Punjab Acting Governor Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan on Sunday welcomed the historic defence agreement signed between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Turkiye in Makkah, saying that the agreement was a clear recognition of Pakistan's diplomatic and defence importance.

He said the growing defence cooperation among the three brotherly Muslim countries was a strong manifestation of mutual trust, shared security and their commitment to lasting peace and stability in the region.

Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan said defence cooperation among Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Turkiye would not only further strengthen bilateral relations among the three countries but also reinforce the concept of collective security in the region.
