Pakistan, June 26 -- 9th Muharram processions and Majalis across Pakistan were held to commemorate the great sacrifice of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and his companions in the Battle of Karbala. Thousands of mourners participated in religious gatherings and processions to pay tribute to the martyrs of Karbala.

In Karachi, the main 9th Muharram procession that began from Nishtar Park continued along its designated route through the city. The procession is expected to conclude at Hussainia Iranian in Kharadar after passing through several traditional locations.
