Pakistan, Nov. 8 -- A 5.0-magnitude earthquake struck several districts of Balochistan late at night, sending residents rushing out of their homes in panic.
According to the Seismological Center, the quake occurred at 2:45 a.m., with tremors felt in Ziarat, Harnai, Zardalu, Khost, Shahrag, Muslim Bagh, Khanozai, Kan Mehtarzai, Rod Malazai, and Surkhab, among other areas.
Mild tremors were also reported in parts of Quetta, the provincial capital. Fortunately, there have been no immediate reports of casualties or property damage.
Authorities are continuing to monitor the situation, and emergency response teams remain on alert in case of aftershocks.
