Pakistan, Nov. 8 -- Federal Minister for Law, Justice and Human Rights Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar has revealed key details of the 27th Constitutional Amendment, which was approved by the federal cabinet on Saturday. Among its proposals is granting the rank of Field Marshal as a ceremonial lifetime title to national heroes, while command authority will continue under existing laws.

The amendment also proposes the establishment of a Federal Constitutional Court to handle constitutional matters more efficiently. Additionally, the power to transfer judges will be given to the Judicial Commission of Pakistan, with input from relevant high court chief justices, aiming to make the process more transparent.
