Pakistan, June 26 -- Venezuela is battling one of its deadliest natural disasters in decades after two powerful earthquakes struck within a minute of each other, leaving at least 235 people dead and causing widespread destruction. The first 7.2-magnitude earthquake hit about 160 kilometres west of Caracas, followed by a stronger 7.5-magnitude tremor, triggering building collapses, severe infrastructure damage and large-scale rescue operations across affected regions.
