Pakistan, June 27 -- Twenty-two Iranian nationals released from US custody have arrived in Karachi, where they were handed over to the Iranian Consulate. The Iranian nationals released by US authorities operation marks another humanitarian effort by Pakistan to facilitate the safe return of Iranian citizens to their homeland.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar confirmed that the group reached Karachi after being released by US authorities. He said arrangements are being finalized to ensure their safe and smooth return to Iran through close coordination between Pakistani and Iranian diplomatic missions.
