QUETTA, Sept. 23 -- Security forces killed 19 militants in separate operations across Balochistan, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR). A Subedar was also martyred during an exchange of fire.

The forces launched a clearance operation in Shaban, Quetta, on September 21 after receiving intelligence about militant hideouts. The ISPR said the hideouts were linked to groups it described as Indian-sponsored militants.

During the ongoing operation, troops engaged militants and cleared several hideouts after intense exchanges of fire. The ISPR said 13 militants were killed, while weapons, ammunition and explosives were recovered.
