Pakistan, April 26 -- The district education authority in Lahore has rejected the registration and renewal applications of about 1100 private schools.

According to CEO Authority Tariq Mahmood, these applications were rejected for not fulfilling the rules and regulations during the scrutiny process.

The education authority said that action has been taken against schools that did not download the security app, did not obtain green certification and did not implement SOPs.

The concerned authorities have made it clear that schools, violating the rules will also face fines. According to the authorities, the affected schools have been given another chance to comply with the rules and those schools that complete all the SOPs will be re-regist...
