Pakistan, June 12 -- The approval of the National Youth Employment Policy is a significant milestone in the government's efforts to address youth unemployment and strengthen workforce participation across the country.

The economic survey 2025-26 describes the policy as a comprehensive national framework designed to connect young people with education, skills development and employment opportunities through a coordinated institutional approach. According to the survey, the policy adopts a whole of government model, bringing together federal and provincial stakeholders to improve alignment between labour market demands and youth aspirations.
