Pakistan, Sept. 12 -- Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei warned Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Japan over supporting an anti-Iran resolution. He said the three countries would face consequences for backing the resolution. Baghaei also described Iran as being in a state of war.

Speaking to Iranian state television, Baghaei discussed a meeting involving Iran and Gulf countries. He said countries must resolve their disputes through talks without foreign involvement. According to him, convincing countries of this approach represents a significant achievement.
