Spider Man, Aug. 2 -- Brand New Day is off to a huge start after making history at the box office. The new Marvel movie earned around 168 million dollars on its first day in North America, making it the biggest opening day ever for a film.

The movie already started breaking records before its full release.

It made 72 million dollars from Thursday preview shows and then went on to beat the opening day record that Avengers: Endgame got since 2019.

The strong start, however, means that the film is expected to have a very big first weekend.

Experts believe that it can earn between 260 million and 280 million dollars in North America.

Some even think it could make more than 300 million dollars, although Sony has shared a lower estimate. T...
