Pakistan, Sept. 12 -- Iran has rejected negotiations with the United States unless Washington accepts Tehran's stated conditions. The position was announced by Ebrahim Azizi, head of Iran's parliamentary National Security Commission. His remarks indicate that Tehran currently sees no purpose in talks without prior agreement.

Azizi shared his position in a statement posted on X on September 12. He said negotiations would remain pointless until Iran's conditions are accepted. The Iranian official also stressed that dialogue requires acceptance of all Tehran's terms.
