ZANZIBAR, June 9 -- THE Zanzibar Utilities Regulatory Authority (ZURA) has announced new fuel prices that will take effect from this month, with petrol and diesel both set to retail at Sh3,890 per litre.

According to a statement issued by the authority on Monday evening, the price of petrol has increased from Sh3,820 to Sh3,890 per litre, while diesel has risen from Sh3,850 to Sh3,890 per litre.

ZURA said the revised prices were determined following its regular review of fuel costs and other relevant factors affecting the importation and supply of petroleum products.
