ZANZIBAR, Aug. 27 -- The Chairman of the Zanzibar Electoral Commission (ZEC), Judge George Joseph Kazi, has urged political parties to conduct civilized campaigns, avoid violence, and refrain from using abusive language, slander, and incitement during the campaign period.
Speaking at a stakeholders meeting held at the ZEC offices in Maisara, Zanzibar Town, Judge Kazi emphasized that every political party has the duty to respect election laws and ethics in their campaigns.
