ZANZIBAR, July 8 -- ZANZIBAR is set to witness a major milestone in its political history, as President Dr Hussein Mwinyi is expected to preside over the signing of a landmark political reconciliation agreement between the ruling Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) and opposition ACT-Wazalendo).

The signing ceremony, scheduled for tomorrow morning at the State House in Unguja, is expected to bring together leaders from across the political spectrum in a rare display of unity aimed at strengthening peace, dialogue and inclusive governance.
