Dodoma, April 1 -- Five members of the Zanzibar House of Representatives elected to the Parliament of the United Republic of Tanzania were sworn in in Dodoma yesterday and unveiled their priorities, which focus on bringing prosperity to citizens on both sides of the Union.
Speaker Mussa Zungu administered the oaths to six legislators, including five from the Zanzibar House of Representatives namely; Fatuma Ramadhan Mohamed, Mariam Said Hamis, Shaame Ali Ali, Simai Mohamed Said (CCM), and Said Ali Mbarouk (ACT Wazalendo).
Dr Lazaro Bunungu was also sworn in, representing Peramiho Constituency (CCM).
