DAR ES SALAAM, Oct. 16 -- Yas Tanzania has joined other participants in the inaugural Tanzania-China Nyerere Run on October 14, honouring the legacy of Tanzanias founding president, Mwalimu Julius Kambarage Nyerere.

The event, which started and ended at the East Africa Commercial & Logistics Center (EACLC) Centre in Ubungo, Dar es Salaam, brought together runners to promote physical fitness while celebrating the longstanding friendship between Tanzania and China.

Yas participation reflected its support for initiatives that promote healthy lifestyles, national heritage and closer ties between communities.
