ZANZIBAR, May 11 -- Yas has expanded its footprint in Zanzibar with the official opening of a new Nungwi Yas store Unguja North Region, as part of efforts to improve access to digital and financial services for residents and businesses.

The launch event in Nungwi, was officiated by the Mayor of the North A Unguja Municipal Council, Mr Nyange Kher Ali, who represented the Regional Commissioner for Unguja North Region.

Mr Ali commended Yas for its continued investment in Zanzibar, saying the move supports government efforts to strengthen digital inclusion and create employment opportunities for young people.
