DAR ES SALAAM, May 23 -- YOUNG Africans returned to the top of the Mainland Premier League table after cruising to a convincing 3-0 victory over Singida Black Stars at KMC Complex in Dar es Salaam yesterday, as the title race against Simba continues to intensify with only six matches remaining.

A brace from Allen Okelo in the 14th and 69th minutes, alongside a strike from Mudathir Yahya just before half-time, secured an important win for the defending champions, who reclaimed the summit with 57 points from 24 matches. Simba sit closely behind on 55 points, having played the same number of games, setting up a thrilling finale to the championship battle.
