ANGOLA, Sept. 20 -- YOUNG Africans SC claimed a 3–0 away win over Wiliete SC in the first leg of their CAF Champions League preliminary round tie at 11 de Novembro Stadium in Talatona, Angola yesterday.
The win places Yanga in a strong position ahead of the second leg of the preliminary round. However, they will need to secure an aggregate victory in the return fixture at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam on September 27th.
The team that progresses on aggregate will advance to the next round of the competition, where they will face the winner of the tie between Silver Strikers of Malawi and Elgeco Plus of Madagascar.
